Writing Prompt: Someone Else’s Island

In response to The Daily Post’s writing prompt: “Someone Else’s Island.”

We’ve all been asked what five objects we’d take with us to a desert island. Now it’s your best friend’s (or close relative’s) turn to be stranded: what five objects would you send him/her off with?

These are the five things I would send with her:

Family photograph: To remind her that she has to come back home in case she finds the island beautiful and decides to stay there.

Music: Solar powered music player for entertainment. Or maybe a guitar.

Books: Books to read if she gets bored. It will break the monotony of staying at one place for a long time.

Two fire stones: To start a fire if the nights are cold.

Fising net: To start free fishing.
